Ten Turn Pot Forms Frequency
Readout - Let’s say you are designing a signal
generator for a test fixture. To adjust the frequency you would like to use a ten turn pot with a nice dial
mechanism attached as a frequency display. However, a display range of 0 to 9. 99 would be impractical since . .

White LED Backlight Supply from Single Li-Ion Cell - The
LT1942 is a highly integrated quad switching regulator designed to provide all necessary power supply functions
for TFT displays, including the white LED backlight driver. The TFT supply output voltages are independently set,
unlike charge pump solutions which have many limitations. . . . [Linear Technology App Note - , Mar 24th 2010]
TFT-LCD Bias Generator: 10V, 24V,-6V Output
- With a small external charge pump network, the LT1947 produces all
three required bias voltages for TFT-LCD displays: 10V AT 150mA, 24V AT 10mA and -6V AT 10mA. . . [Linear

The
Cheap But Useful Ericsson Cell Phone Display GA628 - You
used to have an Ericsson Cell Phone GA628 and you also loved it very much, however after few years of using,
you’ve decided to change a brand new cell phone and you just threw it inside the drawer and never touch or look
on it after that?. . . .

Thermometer with Four-Digit LED Display
- Until recently, the Philips SAA1064 LED driver IC has been a sort of
unofficial standard for driving seven-segment LED displays. It can be used to implement four-digit displays that
can be driven over an I2C bus. must register on this site. . . [Published in Elecktor July/Augu, 2010]
Three Channel Integrated Multiplexer and Line
Driver - The LT6555 is a complete 3-channel wideband
video 2:1 multiplexer with internally set gain of two. This part is ideal as an output port driver for HD
component or high-resolution RGB video products. The basic application circuit is shown here with terminations
shown on all ports, though in many applications the input loading. . . [Linear Technology App Note - , Mar 25th

Triple Video Line Driver (DC Coupled)
- In DC-coupled systems, the video swings are fixed in relation to
the supplies used, so back-terminated cable drivers need only provide 2V of output range when optimally biased.
In most cases, this permits operation on lower power supply potential (s) than with AC-coupling (unclamped mode).
Generally DC-coupled circuits use split. . . [Linear Technology App Note - , Mar 25th 2010]
Two nixie display clock - My
clock building habit is apparently as bad as ever. This time, it was inspired by a stash of Burroughs B5092s, so
I needed to vertically align it. Also, since I wanted to make it as small as possible, I wanted to keep nearly
everything surface mount, so I abandoned the idea of using 74141s in favor of standard BCD to decimal converters
plus some external drive transistors. No need to multiplex since I'm only using two tubes, so this design is
actually pretty straightforward. . . . [© 2007 by Riad S. Wah[by]
