Tiny Efficient High Power LED Camera Flash Solutions for Cell Phone Applications -  Linear Technology Design Note 231 (App Note added 6/06)
Trigger Circuit for Strobes -  circuits which can be used for triggering stroboscopes from external signals (added 4/02)
Typical Strobe Light Trigger Circuit -  This circuit typically uses a voltage around 300 volts for the main high voltage supply and needs a low voltage supply of typically 6 to 15 volts…..
Welch Scientific Model 2153C Stroboscope -  a schematic for a typical line operated variable rate Strobe used for the visualization of moving parts as well as rotation speed or frequency determination of rotating or vibrating machinery (added 4/02)
Xenon DC-to-DC Converters! -  (design circuit added 8/02)
Xenon Flash & Strobe Page -  Designed as a companion to the LX100%, can also be used by itself (electronic schematic / circuit added 4/02)
Xenon flash valve -  An experiment of the xenon flash valve.  (added 10/05)
Xenon Flasher (Colin Mitchell) -  You are going to like this project. It costs less than $3.00, contains six BUILDING BLOCKS, re-cycles a disposable flash camera and you are going to learn a lot about electronics.
Everyone has seen a disposable flash camera….

Xenon Strobe Light -  A xenon flash tube is a triggered gas discharge device. A voltage may be impressed across the tube and it will not conduct until the xenon gas is ionised by an external high voltage (typically 3 to 5kV). Once triggered, the gas becomes a very low impedance, and discharges the storage capacitors in about 1ms (this varies considerably, but this figure is fine for basic calculations) [Rod Elliott (ESP)]
Xenon Strobe Light (Aaron Cake) -  Disco anyone? Actually, this strobe serves a much more useful purpose then making it look cool when you dance in the dark. You can use it to view fast moving objects, look for craks in PC boards (hold the strobe on the trace side of the board and look from the component side), and it is a great attention getter in a store window.
Xenon Strobe Light (Linscott) -  The way that this circuit works is as follows. The AC line voltage is rectified by D1 and D2 which connects to a voltage doubler circuit made up of the two 22uf capacitors. The Flash Freq. Pot and the 10uf capacitor charge up which triggers the Diac ….(added 5/02)
