PICmicro MicroController Firmware FLow Chart of MCRF45X Demo Reader -  Microchip Application Note Published 20-Jan-03  (app note added 2/06)
Pulse Width-to-Voltage Converter -  (electronic schematic / circuit added 4/02)
R/C Circuit -  A simple and effective receiver for actuating garage doors, starter motors, alarms, warning systems and numerous other possibilities. The SCR, which has a very low trigger current of 30 uA is typical -- it requires an input power of only 30 uW to activate the relay. A high Q tuned antenna circuit assures rejection of spurious signals. A whip or wire antenna is adequate up to 100 feet from a low power transistor transmitter. A momentary-off switch resets the circuit…. [Tony van Roon's circuit]
R/C Digital camera Controller -  (electronic circuit added 4/05)
R/C Emergency locator alarm -  (electronic circuit added 4/05)
R/C helicopter camera -  (electronic circuit added 4/05)

R/C Switch -  This circuit is a so-called "Radio controlled Electronic Switch". It can be used to switch on/off anything electrical, whatever it is. Here are a couple of examples: navigation lights, landing gear, sound systems, Glowplug driver, bomb release, parachute, search lights, gyros, and so on.  This circuits connects to a RC car controller servo output….. [Tony van Roon's circuit]
[_OLD-ads-dont_upload/OLD I-ADS from web/ad-djandassoc.htm]
Radio Controlled 3way Light Switch  -  TRIAC based 3 way light switches are very uncommon. Typical circuit representative of those used in most light switch type digital timers. The timer module is normally a PIC or custom chip, and it syncs to the AC line so that a trigger pulse can be supplied at the right moment.... [Reverse engineered schematic by Stepan Novotill]
Radio Remote Control using DTMF -  Here is a circuit of a remote control unit which makes use of the radio frequency signals to control various electrical appliances.  This remote control unit has 4 channels which can be easily extended to 12.  This circuit differs from similar circuits in view of its simplicity and a totally different concept of generating the control signals.... [Radioland.net]
RC Controlled Digital Camera -  Fair Warning, site contain annoying popups.  The aim of this project was to get a digital camera into a small electric radio controlled (RC) airplane and still have it fly. The airplane shown, a park flyer, weighs between 400 and 550 grams depending on the size of battery and wing configuration that I use....(added 6/06)
RC Model Aircraft Motor Control -  Microchip Application Note Published 18-Jul-02....[App Note]
RC Network Eliminates Precision Reference -  08/04/94 EDN-Design Ideas....The circuit in Fig 1 uses a magneto-resistive sensor to detect small magnet displacements without resorting to a precision voltage reference. A simple RC divider takes the place of the reference, eliminating an exp.... EDN is migrating links. This link is not verified.  Google the "title" + EDN for new link.
RC receiver hosts two independent switches -  6-Jun-96 Issue of EDN  Typical inexpensive radio-control (RC] systems have servo-motor outputs, but no on/off switch outputs. You can add two independent RC switches to a system without making any transmitter or receiver modifications.... [Design Idea by Tom Howell, US Army ARDEC, Picatinny Arsenal, Dover, NJ]
Receive Signal Decoder -  The signal output by  radio control receiver is a form of PWM.  This may be useful for driving servos, but is inconvenient for general electronic applications. Therefore, several of  circuits on this site convert this signal into a voltage first.  This is performed by this circuit. It is not a project in its own right, just a building block used by or projects....(added 4/05)
Simplest R/C Circuit -  A simple and effective receiver for actuating garage doors, starter motors, alarms, warning systems and numerous other possibilities.
The Battery Eliminator Circuit -  The Battery Eliminator Circuit, or BEC, is one of the tools at our disposal to reduce weight in our electric models. A typical four-cell 600mAh nickel cadmium (NiCd) battery supplied…. [Stefan Vorketter's web site]
The HC11 Controls the Stepper -  (circuit / schematic design added 07/08/09)
Tiny RC Cars TX & Charger -  The transmitter runs on only 3V whereas most others run on more voltage.  This dirt cheap item uses non-adjustable inductors so it is not possible to tweak for higher output. The common TX2B chip is manufactured by HIGHLAND (SHENZHEN) ELECTRONICS CO LTD and by REALTEK SEMICONDUCTOR CORP and others.... [Reverse engineered schematic by Stepan Novotill]
Versatile Miniature High-Rate ESC with BEC & Brake -  This electronic speed control (ESC) for brushed motors combines the features of two of my earlier designs. One was a high-rate 30A ESC with a brake, and the other a high-rate 12A ESC with a BEC (receiver battery eliminator circuit)….. [Stefan Vorketter]
Xenon-9 Speed Controller -  The FET speed controller is made up of several smaller blocks, each which is quite easy to understand. The R.C. transmitter sends control information to the receiver as a string of width modulated pulses. The receiver sorts these out…....
