Atmel AVR Programmer - Easy-to-build AVR µC-programming circuit that can program the 40-pin AT90S4414/8515, the 20-pin AT90S1200/2313, and the eight-pin AT90S2323/2343.  The programmer uses only three chips.  It connects to the host PC's serial port via a MAX232 RS-232 transceiver, IC1.  Power comes from a 9V wall cube and the 78L05 linear regulator, VR1.  The AT89C4051 µC    (IC2) works with the 11.0592-MHz oscillator, and controls all programming tasks.  LED1 indicates the programmer's status.  

Atmel in-system Programmer - I found the schematic of this programmer in my "AVR software and technical Library - April 2003" CD-rom and decide to publish it.  The reason was, that this programmer is very stable and works perfect with AVR Studio 4.   I had tested it before published it, with AT90s2313 and its worked fine!!!
To work this programmer you must to connect a crystal  4MHz to slave device at the XTAL1 and XTAL2 pins, or if you have an device with internal oscillator    (AT90S2343, ATmega161 etc) and its enabled , its not need any external oscillator.__ © Vassilis Serasidis

Atmel Solar Panel Battery Charger - Batwatch is a simple monitor for a solar panel battery charger, using an Atmel ATtiny13V.  It periodically measures the charge current and battery voltage, and shows them by blinking two LEDs.  I built this circuit into the plug of a VW solar charger panel that is used to prevent a discharge of the battery when a car is not used for some time.  A modern car contains a large amount of electronics, and a quiescent current of 40-50mA    (about 1Ah per day!) is considered "normal".

AVR (AT90S2313) composite PAL colour bar generator -  I started this project 3 weeks ago, because I was wondering " is that possible, some AVR MCU to create simple colour bars? " At the beginning, I  believed that it's easy.  So, I asked some people who knew more about PAL composite video signal.  The first idea was to work with 8.867238 MHz crystal    (2 times the color carrier) .  When I read about PAL video composite signal creation, I saw that if you want to product colors entire-in-software you must create the color-carrier    (4.43 MHz) , changing 4 times the phase of color-carrier    (one time for each color) , to show 4 colours.  Except that, you have to change the color-burst from 135 deg to 135+90= 225 deg. __ Designed by © Vassilis Serasidis

AVR In-Circuit Programmer - The programmer is very simple to build.  It contains one IC and a couple of connectors.  As you can see below, with some ingenuity it is possible to squeeze all the circuitry into a DB25 connector shell.  The IC can be a 74HC244 or a 74LS244.  The more normal means of construction is with a small circuit board, with the DB25 connector mounted on one edge, and a header to connect the ribbon cable.  The programmer is designed to work with all the AVRâ„¢ family micros, and with the Atmel "ISP" programming software.

AVR ISP Programmer (In-Sytem programmer) for ATME - L - This AVR ISP original by ATMEL you can found on "AVR software and technical Library, April 2003" CD-rom.  It small component count I design new PCB and change some component that easy to build small PCB.  The new firmware was writen by John Samperi for AT90S2313.  This code can program more devices.  

AVR LCD terminal - The LCD display is represented by the connector X1.  It has a HD44780 compatible LCD controller and I'm using the 4-bit interface to send data to the LCD controller.  The LED's are multiplexed.  I've seen the circuit somewhere in the web.  It is possible to connect 12 LEDs with only 4 tristate ports with this circuit.  You can address the LEDs setting 1 port high, 1 port low and 2 ports to high impedance.  I've only used 8 LEDs because of space problemes in the aperture

AVR LCD Thermometer LM35 - The LM35 of National Semiconductors that is used in this project is a precision centigrade temperature sensor, which has an analog output voltage.  It has a range of -55ºC to +150ºC and a accuracy of ±0.5ºC.  The output voltage is 10mV/ºC.  The output voltage is converted by the AD convertor of the AT Mega8.  The temperature is displayed on an LCD module.  In this example the thermometer has a range of 0ºC to 40ºC and a resolution of 0.5ºC.  If you want to have a readout in Fahrenheit you can use the LM34.
