Negative Resistance Oscillator with Homemade Tunnel Diode -
If you want to amplify a signal, or if you want to create an oscillator,
the standard means of today are using a two-port amplifying element
(transistor, FET, MMIC, op-amp, tube, …), plus a frequency determining
feedback network if you want an oscillator. Ringing & Blocking Oscillators - By choosing suitable values for the components in this circuit, very short pulse durations of the order of 1 uS at a p.r.f. of 100 kc/s can be obtained, ie 100, 000 one-microsecond pulses every second! __ Designed by © Dick Barrett |
