Bandpass Filter Features Adjustable Q and Constant Maximum Gain:  03/3/05   EDN-Design Ideas /  (added 10/05)  In low-noise analog circuits, a high-gain amplifier serves at  input to increase  SNR. The input signal level determines  input-stage gain; low-level signals require  highest gain. It is also standard practice in low-noise analog-signal processing to make  circuit's bandwidth as narrow as possible to pass only  useful input-signal spectrum...

Big 7-Segment LED Display Board with SPI Interface:  The circuit uses a serial-in-parallel out shift register, 74HC595 for receiving serial data from uController board. See example of U5 in  schematic, SER is for data input, SRCLK is shift clock and RCLK is Latch clock. Each data bit is shifted into  register on rising edge of  shift clock. When all data bits are shifted into  8-bit register,  rising edge of RCLK will clock  data to be latched at each output bit, i.e. QA QH.... (added 4/05)

Big LED Clock:  (circuit / schematic added 5/03)
