Pocket TENS Unit for Pain Relief - Little Jim AM Transmitter__ SiliconChip Positive Feedback for Isometric Muscle Experiments - Here I present my 2'nd year university physics project, undertaken while at Imperial College, London university. Unlike the 1'st and 3'rd year projects, which were my own proposals, this one was selected in the more usual way from a list of undergraduate projects provided by the physics department. __ Designed by Hans Summers
Power Loss Beeper - For some medical equipment it is important for an operator when power is lost to the machine. The beeper is powered from a 9v battery and requires the machine to have a power switch with a third set of contacts. . . Circuit by Dave Johnson P.E.-March, 1999
Pulse Oximeter via Finger Clip Reference Design with BLE Connectivity - This reference design is for a complete SPO2 Pulse Oximeter finger clip end equipment featuring TI signal chain, power, and connectivity components. With TI’s AFE4490 Pulse Ox AFE, you can accelerate and simplify your pulse ox design while still ensuring the highest of quality clinical measurements. This reference design also includes a full BLE connectivity design for easy interface to BLE enabled smartphones, tablets, etc.__ Texas Instruments
Pulse Rate Monitor - This simple circuit enables you to listen to your heartbeat, for instance, while you are exercising. The transducer used for detecting the pulse is an electret microphone, X1 in the diagram. The model used has two (polarized) terminals. As usual with this type of microphone, it functions via a series resistor, R1. The potential drop
Pulse rate Monitor using TLC274 opamp - This simple circuit enables you to listen to your heartbeat, for instance, while you are exercising. The transducer used for detecting the pulse is an electret microphone, X1 in the diagram. The model used has two (polarized) terminals. As usual with this type of microphone, it functions via a series resistor, R1. The potential drop across this resistor__ Learning Electronics
Rain sound effect Generator - Agreeable, relaxing effect, helping to fall asleep; Small portable unit, 3V battery powered __ Contact: Flavio Dellepiane, fladello @ tin.it
Ridiculously Sensitive Electric Charge Detector - This simple circuit can detect the invisible fields of voltage which surround all electrified objects. It acts as an electronic "electroscope. " __ Designed by William J. Beaty
Salt-Taster - Detects the amount of salt contained in liquid foods; Three-level LED indicator __ Contact: Flavio Dellepiane, fladello @ tin.it
Simple Circuit Lie Detector - Here's a simple lie detector that can be built in a few minutes, but can be incredibly useful when you want to know if someone is really telling you the truth. It is not as sophisticated as the ones the professionals use, but it works. It works by measuring skin resistance, which goes down when you lie __ Designed by Aaron Cake

Simple Circuit pulse oximetry for wearable Monitor - EDN-Design Ideas 09/14/2014 Use this circuit as the “heart” of a pulse oximeter and oxygen saturation monitor. Design by Martin Jagelka , Martin Daricek & Martin Donoval
Skin Rensponse Meter - Human skin offers some resistance to current and voltage. This resistance changes with the emotional state of the body. The circuit proposed here measures changes in your skin resistance following changes...__ Electronics Projects for You
Sleeping aid - Many people experienced sleeping well in natural surroundings, into a tent or a wooden hut. This fact is due not only to the healthy atmosphere but also from our unconscious ability to perceive natural Earth's magnetic-fields. The circuit generates this type of Geo-magnetic-fields and lets us perceive them: in this manner our brain is surrounded by an ideal environment for a sound sleep. (N.B. Basic ideas for this circuit are coming from German papers) .__ Learning Electronics

Smart Hearing Aid - Normally, hearing aid circuits consume battery power continuously once they are switched on. The circuit given here saves battery power by switching on the sound amplifier section only when sound is...__ Electronics Projects for You
Snore Alarm - The idea behind this snore alarm, is just to rouse the snorer, not the entire household. To wake the sleeper, vibration is used, not an audible alert. The vibration is provided by a small motor housed in a small 35mm film case, which can be placed under the sleepers mattress or pillow. This circuit has a level control and peak display indicator, a variable trigger __ Designed by Andy Collison
Snore Alarm Electronic Device - Here I describe a little electronic device that detects snoring. The principle though very simple is efficient and well protected against false triggerings. Upon detection, it generates a noisy and painfull alarm. Just what's necessary to wake up everybody except the snorer. __ Designed by chabin laurent

Sudden ionospheric disturbance (SID) receiver - The AAVSO SID Program consists of solar observers who monitor very low frequency (VLF) radio stations for sudden enhancements of their signals. Earth's ionosphere reacts to the intense X-ray and ultraviolet radiation released during a solar flare. The ionospheric disturbance enhances VLF radio propagation. By monitoring the signal strength of a distant VLF transmitter, sudden ionospheric disturbances (SIDs) are recorded and indicate a recent solar flare event. __ Contact: AAVSO SID Program
Sun tanning timer - This timer was designed for people wanting to get tanned but at the same time wishing to avoid an excessive exposure to sunlight. A Rotary Switch sets the timer according to six classified Photo-types (see table) . A Photo resistor extends the preset time value according to sunlight brightness (see table) . __ Contact: Flavio Dellepiane, fladello @ tin.it |
