Ultrasonic Anti-Fouling Unit for Boats, Pt.2 -  in the September issue we published the details of the ultrasonic driver for this project, which is housed in an iP65 case for safety and protection from water ingress.  This month we describe how to encapsulate the ultrasonic transducer so that it is completely safe to handle.  Once it is encapsulated it will operate reliably, even if it is submerged in the bilge of the boat.  We also show a typical installation of the system in a large power boat.__ SiliconChip

Ultrasonic Bat Receiver-M0DGQ -  Schematic only __ Designed by va3iul

Ultrasonic Beam Barrier -  This circuit generates inaudible ultrasound to make a barrier across the entry.  At the moment the circuit detects a break in the sound barrier, it generates a loud alarm indicating the entry of a person.  This can be used to protects the entry passages and helps to detect unauthorized entry of persons in protected areas.  The __ Designed by D Mohankumar

Ultrasonic Distance Measurement with the MSP430 (PDF) -  This application report describes a distance-measuring system based on ultrasonic sound utilizing the MSP430F413 ultralow-power microcontroller.  The system transmits a burst of ultrasonic sound waves towards the subject and then receives the corresponding echo.  The MSP430 integrated analog comparator Comparator_A is used to detect the arrival of the echo to the system __ Designed by TI Application Report SLAA136A - October 2001

Ultrasonic Distance Measurer -  Linear measurement is a problem that a lot of applications in the industrial and consumer market segment have to contend with.  Ultrasonic technology is one of the solutions used by the industry.  However, an optimized balance between cost and features are a must for almost all target applications__

Ultrasonic distance meter using raspberry pi 2 -  Ultrasonic ranging module HC-SR4 provides 2cm to 4cm non-contact distance measurement range.  its accuracy can reach ±3mm__ Arnav Bansal

Ultrasonic Distant Obstacle Detector -  The first sensor a robot usually gets fitted with is an obstacle detector.  it may take three different forms, depending on the type of obstacle you want to detect and also — indeed, above all — on the distance at which you want detection to take place.  For close or very close obstacles, reflective iR__

Ultrasonic Dog Whistle -  it's well known that many animals are particularly sensitive to high-frequency sounds that humans can't hear.  Many commercial pest repellers based on this principle are available, most of them operating in the range of 30 to 50 kHz.   __ Designed by Tomaz Lazar-Ljubljana, Slovenia

Ultrasonic Intruder Detector -  The next circuit is an ultrasonic intruder detector. it uses Doppler shift from a moving object. Ultrasonics aren't used much for this commercially as they can be a bit temperamental to set up and tend to detect cats and curtains moving in a draft. Modern detectors tend to use a narrow beam microwave system which only scans a small area such as a doorway. Ultrasonics tend to scan the whole room. __ Designed by Richard Torrens

Ultrasonic ParKontroller -  Are you afraid that your brand new Hummer is going to get scratched while parking it in a tight space?  Do you have trouble backing your large Mercedez S-class into your small garage?  Fear no more!   Our ultrasonic ParKontroller can sense how far you are away from the wall __ Designed by James Juwon Lee and Maurico Rodriguez Saenz

Ultrasonic Pest Repellent -  it is well know that pests like rats, mice etc are repelled by ultrasonic frequency in the range of 30 kHz to 50 kHz.  Human beings can’t hear these high-frequency sounds.  Unfortunately, all pests do not react at the same ultrasonic frequency.  While some pests get repelled at 35 kHz, some others get repelled at 38 to 40 kHz.  Thus to increase the effectiveness,  __

Ultrasonic Preamp with AGC -  The next circuit shows how an ordinary diode can be used as a variable resistance element to incorporate automatic gain control. __ Designed by Richard Torrens

Ultrasonic Preamp with Twin T Tuning -  The last circuit is an ultrasonic preamp with a twin T feedback to make it highly tuned.  __ Designed by Richard Torrens

Ultrasonic Proximity Detector -  We the humans can hear sound of up to 20kHz frequency only. This proximity detector works at a frequency of 40 kHz. it uses two specially made ultrasonic transducers: One transducer...__ Electronics Projects for You

Ultrasonic Proximity Detector 2 -  This ultrasonic proximity detector comprising independent, battery-powered transmitter and receiver sections makes use of a pair of matched ultrasonic piezoceramic transducers operating at around 40 kHz each.  This circuit can be...__ Electronics Projects for You

UltraSonic Radar -  This is a very interesting project with many practical applications in security and alarm systems for homes, shops and cars.  it consists of a set of ultrasonic receiver and transmitter which operate at the same frequency.  When something moves in the area covered by the circuit the circuit’s   __ Contact IQ Technologies

Ultrasonic radar alarm -  The objective of this project is to use inexpensive PiR sensor to detect if a human has moved.  To build this project I use a PIC 18F25K20 microcontroller to detect if the sensor had change state and it will emit a sound from the speaker or piezo, the MCU also detect the voltage of the battery in the startup, the algorithm it´s very simple it use an interrupt on change to detect the change on the PiR sensor. __ Designed by Helio Pereira

Ultrasonic Radar Model using Microcontroller Atmega128 -  Radar systems have a number of defence as well as civil applications.  Air traffic control uses radars to track aircrafts on the ground and in the air, and to guide planes...__ Electronics Projects for You

Ultrasonic Range Finder -  The circuit is designed to be low cost.  it uses a PIC 12C508 to perform the control functions and standard 40khz piezo transducers.  The drive to the transmitting transducer could be simplest driven directly from the PIC .  The 5v drive can give a useful range for large objects, but can be problematic detecting smaller objects.  The transducer can handle 20v of drive, so I decided to get up close to this level.  A MAX232 IC , usually used for RS232 communication makes and ideal driver, providing about 16v of drive.   __ Designed by Gerald Coe

Ultrasonic Range Finder & Imager -  This is the electronic schematic of the homebuilt SONAR.  Only one piezoelectric tranducer is used for both tramsmit & receive.  This transducer is switched from TX to RX via the four 4016 switches.  A high gain amplifier stage & rectifier translates the received echoes into voltage pulses.  The timing is controlled by the PIC 12C508 8-pin microcontroller__

Ultrasonic Range Finder uses Few Components -  06/24/99 EDN Design Ideas:  An ultrasonic, or sonar, range finder is a common sensor in robotic systems and industrial environments.  Even home and automotive uses are possible.  A novel sensor design consists of a WC, a few peripheral components, and a pair of ultrasonic transducers (Figure 1).  The range-finder __ Circuit Design by Daniel R Herrington, National Semiconductor, Arlington, TX

Ultrasonic Receiver -  This is the matching receiver. You should note that the circuit easily divides into 3 stages (each two transistors) with a final transistor driving the relay. __ Designed by Richard Torrens

Ultrasonic Reflectance Detector -  This circuit detects motion within approximately 5 inches of a piezo-ceramic element ultrasonic transducer.  The detection distance is much smaller than obtainable with other ultrasonic techniques, however, it only requires a single transducer, as opposed to the two-transducer arrangement typically found in other designs.  The short-range detection is adequate for many applications, such as proximity-operated commodity dispensers or tamper alarms for merchandise cases.   __ Designed by Arthur Harrison

Ultrasonic Remote Control and Intruder Detector -  This transmitter is designed to work with the next circuit as a remote control transmitter/receiver. it is only a single channel and you could once get multi-channel chips for the whole job. However ultrasonics have fallen out of favour commercially so I think most of these chips are now obsolete. __ Designed by Richard Torrens

Ultrasonic transmitter -  This is a fairly commonly published self-oscillating driver for ceramic (piezo) resonators. However with some resonators it can be a bit temperamental: the 1n0 capacitor across the top transistor of the totem-pole helps it to start up. Some resonators won't need this. __ Designed by Richard Torrens

Ultrasonic transmitter & receiver -  Presented here are the circuits of ultrasonic transmitter and receiver that use two CD4017 decade counters and ultrasonic transducers.   __ Designed by PRADEEP G.

Ultrasonic Water Tank Level Gauge -  Do you have a tank to collect rainwater? Do you know how much water is in it?
