15 Channels Cascaded MAX455 Video Mux -  On this following circuit shown in the schematic diagram, two MAX455s IC chip are cascaded to build a 1 of 15 video Multiplexer.  This cascading is done by connecting the output of one MAX455 MUX to one input of  a second MAX455 MUX.  The output of the first MUX should be terminated to ground using a 75R resistor, to preserve bandwidth although the two devices are usually close to one another.  __

2.4GHz Wireless A-V Link -  We've published a few audio/video transmitters/receivers over the years but none were as compact as this 2.4GHz model.  Whether you want it for legitimate security/monitoring applications or simply for fun, it's easy to build and a lot cheaper than buying a ready-made system! __ SiliconChip

25 Watt MOSFET Audio Amplifier -  High Quality simple unit.  No need for a PreAmplifier __ Contact Flavio Dellepiane, fladello @ tin.it

2km TV Transmitter -  Here is a simple TV transmitter.  The circuit is simple and really quite crude, but it does include MONO sound.  I have not shown the two regulators in the drawing.  These are one 12v DC 1A series regulator chip, and one 8v DC 1A series regulator.  I fed the 8v regulator from the output of the 12v regulator.  The rest of the circuit looks like this.  it is a free-running Variable Frequency Oscillator (VFO) using just one coil and one capacitor to determine the frequency.  Change this as you will.  The basic circuit uses a 150pf from the Base of the RF transistor to ground, so that TR2 operates as a "common-base mode" (grounded base) amplifier.  The tuned circuit in the collector and the capacitor from collector to emitter provide tuning and feedback.__

432 MHz to Ch2 ATV Converter-W9NTP -  Schematic only __ Designed by va3iul

450MHz-800MHz UHF Preamplifier -  This circuit is designed to work at UHF frequencies in the range 450-800MHz.  it has a gain of around 10dB and is suitable for boosting weak TV signals __ Designed by Andy Collison

48-Input×16-Output Crosspoint IC Eliminates the Need for Multiplexer Amps -  20-Feb-03 EDN Design Ideas:  (Transmission line tests 1-kW device using only 100W) Crosspoint switches are ideal for use in video-security systems, which accept multiple camera inputs while providing playback and multiple loop-through to multiple monitors.  To provide video loop-through or monitor outputs, these systems often require additional multiplexer amplifiers that can drive standard video loads Design by Mike Hess, Maxim Integrated Products, Sunnyvale, CA

4-channel video & audio Sequencer -  This next project is a simple circuit for switching your CCTV camera outputs sequentially.  it switches four video and audio channels sequentially, one at a time. it is built around a 555 timer few other components.  The timer is configured as an astable multi-vibrator.  A single-side PCB of the four-channel video and audio sequencer is provided along with the component layout.  After assembling the circuit on the PCB, enclose it in a suitable plastic box.__ Electronics Projects for You

4x4 Video Crosspoint has 100MHz Bandwidth & 85dB Rejection at 10MHz -  DN81 Design Notes__ Linear Technology/Analog Devices

5 Watt UHF TV Amplifier -  This small circuit is a Linear amplifier for driving small UHF TV transmitters.  its gain is 7dB and can amplify a signal between 450-800 MHz.  You can drive the circuit with 1 to 1, 5 Watts signal.  Better use double layer PCB with the second layer connected to earth.  Use a stabilized power supply 25 volts and at least 5Amps.  The transistor case is the SOT-122A and be careful because the transistor is very toxic for your health.  Tuning can be achieved turning the two variable capacitors.  Do not forget to use heat sink for both transistors, specially for the BLW89 and it would be better if you place a small fan as well.__

500MHz video Signal transmitter -  Schematic only __ Designed by Peter Jakab

8 x 8 Audio Video Switch -  8 channel switch.   __ Designed by Peter Jakab

902 MHz PLL FM ATV Transmitter -  Schematic only __ Designed by va3iul

A Home Satellite TV System for Less Than 50 Bucks -  Tune into TV signals on the Optus B1 satellite with this surplus gear.  $50 buys you all the bits.__ SiliconChip

A Low Cost Audio/Video Distribution Amplifier -  Easy-to-build unit can distribute six channels of composite video (& stereo audio) or three channels of S-video.__ SiliconChip

A/V Sender -  This small circuit transmitter processes the signs of audio of a sound table or microphone, and the signs of video of a camera, or still the audio signs and video of a DVD, Video-cassette or even it sweats her video plate has an exit of composed video, you can transmit direct of your computer.  Playing them in a channel free from the strip of VHF __ Designed by Toni on Aug 19, 2009

Adapt Differential Input to Drive Coax -  05/08/97 EDN Design Ideas:  Uses an HFA1100 or HFA1105 to convert a balanced input signal to a single-ended output signal, uses positive feedback to characteristic-impedance matching while increasing the available output swing, as compared with using a simp Design by Donald Whitney Jr, Harris Semiconductor, Melbourne, FL

Apple IIe RGB to CGA -  The 'A2E EXT.80COL/RGB' card gives the Apple //e RGB output to an AppleColor M100 monitor.  I got the card but the monitor seems unobtainable.  I had read that a CGA monitor could be used and I had one of those.  But I found it was not that easy.  The CGA monitor requires the signal to be 60Hz, vsync also and positive pulses on hsync and vsync.  My Apple iie did output a 50Hz signal and a negative pulse composite sync.  I changed the motherboard to the US NTSC version to get 60 Hz and I made this circuit __ Designed by Knut Roll-Lund

Astec Video Modulator Documentation -  This is a four page document of1-video modulator module.  This document includes full circuit diagram ofvideo modulator.  __

Audio Video Switch -  This is an 8-input x-output audio/video switch module to be controlled from a computer, for example fromparallel port.  Each audio/video output can be switched to any of8 inputs, separately.1-module drives1-audio/video output and has a34-pin connector to plug intosystem interface.  You can use video OPA-s on 4051 output instead.  Note that you can get full integrated video multiplexers from Maxim __ Designed by Peter Jakab

AVR (AT90S2313) composite PAL colour bar generator -  I started this project 3 weeks ago, because I was wondering " is that possible, some AVR MCU to create simple colour bars? " At the beginning, I  believed that it's easy.  So, I asked some people who knew more about PAL composite video signal.  The first idea was to work with 8.867238 MHz crystal (2 times the color carrier).  When I read about PAL video composite signal creation, I saw that if you want to product colors entire-in-software you must create the color-carrier (4.43 MHz) , changing 4 times the phase of color-carrier (one time for each color) , to show 4 colours.  Except that, you have to change the color-burst from 135 deg to 135+90= 225 deg. __ Designed by © Vassilis Serasidis
